Get the flange first of all. Then take off the intercooler pipe that the hks pipe replaces, bolt everything back together and plug in the vac line. Find some way to plug the line that went from the stock bov to the TID. A big bolt will work. Or simply do the TID mod.

return it and buy the kit for your car... if you have the stock intercooler you will not have fun trying to make it work.

Umm... Mine was a piece of CAKE! I mean, it's basic enough that you really don't need the instructions. But mine was whole and brand new, and I assume yours is used? Without the flange, it won't be sturdy, and you're gonna need it to be. The bov should've came with a huge metal plug for your intake. If you have done the TID, then you don't need it, but it's used to block where there's a hose underneath your air box and runs to the intercooler piping. Like dr0x said, a big bolt will work too, but it's gonna be a BIG bolt. Like size of a quarter. You have a hose leading to your intercooler from the bov (attaches to bottom of bov), and then you have the flange to bolt to the body, but you can make one of those out of whatever too probably. The vac line goes on the back of the bov, right near the top, there's a small nipple for it, and then just run that to where the stock bov's vacuum is/was or use a T and use another line. Cake. I'd take pictures, but mine is removed along with half of the engine. Turbo rebuild.. But if you would like to see how the bov looks itself, I can do that. Like where the hoses go on the bov itself. That's about all I can do for ya. Hope that helps a little.

this is the easiest mod in the world.
1. do the TID(officially easiest mod)
3. get yourself a piece of 1.5 inch diameter pipe, the pipe needs to be the same type of metal that the HKS flange is (aluminum or steel) . get a piece that is about 3 feet long. (this is assuming you have the stock turbo

4. remove everything but the hose couplers in between the compressor outlet and intercooler.

5.measure pipe accordingly and cut.
6.take pipe and flange to muffler shop and have them weld it on
7.install bov on pipe.
install pipe in intake tract and secure all connections
8. install a vaccum T in-line with the boost sensor vaccum line coming from upper intake manifold. run a line from the T to the BOV
9. drink beer (mmmmmmmmmm)

Turbo Inlet Duct? It's dumping your stock air filter box and getting a cone filter, and then running your own piping to the turbo in the form of a straight shot instead of that cursed S shaped intake pipe that Mazda dropped in there. It's murder to air flow. This is usually preformed by spending 5 dollars on pipe and fittings from Home Depot and then whatever the cost of your cone filter.

i found the easiest and best piece to use for this is a 3in to 2 in reducer for sewage. its rubber and comes with the hose clamps already. i think it was only about 3-4 bucks. but wont he need to buy the adapter plate for the cone filter? so it will bolt to the afm?

ebay.... just search for HKS bov adapter.... plenty of people sell them. That pic is exactly how I have mine hooked up, no problems.
