Do you mean the blow off valve?

If you mean the wastegate then you need to purchase an external wastegate.

unless you are going to use aftermarket turbos then you have to use external wastegate. No its not possible to use ext. wastegate with a stocker. But you can port your stock wastegate to eliviate boost creep.

My TO4E was vented into the atmosphere.it is the loudest damn noise you will ever hear.
When using an external wastgate just dont route the wastegate pipe back into the exhaust, you then are dumping it into atmosphere

I guess it could be done but its almost pointless. just weld the internal gate closed ang have someone modify the factory manifold to accept an external gate(you would have to have a pipe welded to the manifold to mount the gate) you also might be able to buy an aftermarket manifold(HKS etc) and modify the housing to accept a stock turbo.
But again if you are running a 89+ turbo this would probably do very little for you except lighten you wallet.

Because it sounds like some just unleashed holy hell from underneath your car when you get on it. (Chicks dig it too) =]

Any wastegate plumbed into the atmosphere will be loud, as it basically becomes a straight pipe exhaust

Ple enlighten me on this question.

Say you have a 7psi wastegate. Does this mean that it will open up when it sees 7 psi of boost??..WOuld it be better if you have a higher psi wastegate, say a 10 or something??...Because i heard of people changing the springs from a 7psi and putting a stiffer spring..Anyone know how??
