Need Help! Weird Electrical Problem! HELP!

Ok, during the day, my idel rocks at 750 RPM. Then, as soon as I turn on my headlights it is still fine, but w/ my lights on, and me pressing the brake in, the lights dim and my idle drops to 200 RPM! If I turn off the lights, all is ok at 750 again! I am thinking my alternator needs to be re-grounded. Any ideas?

I think the BAC valve helps the idle too. I need to research things before I rip them out and throw them away

The BAC, from all I have read, only helps if the A/C is running. If I turn on the A/C, and perform the afore said operation to try to make my RPM drop, it stays solid at 750 RPM, so I know that it is fine.

Do two things-
Get 4 ring/crimp connectors (like, a buck for 4)
Get about 4 feet of 8ga wire (check a car audio store for best)

Then-
1- run one wire from the nut on the alternator to the battery's positive terminal.
2- run a bit of wire from a bolt on the chassis somewhere near the battery to the batty negative terminal.

This will help your charging system a lot!!
My warning lights used to glow at high rpms, indicating insufficient charge- and it was worse with my lights on. Didi this, and it cleared right up!!

A lot of people have done this- seems to be a real help for a weak spot in the rx-7's electrics (otherwise they are great... HA!! RIGHT!!)
