How do I go about getting an exhaust?

Ok this may be stupid but I've never dealt with this kind of crap before. well I was getting tires put on and they used a hydrolic lift and when they lifted it the center of the lift ended up on my Racing beat headers and presilencer. So now I've got a major leak between the two flanges connecting the two. after starting my car I immediately pulled back into the shop. they then tried to pry the pipe down hoping to close the leak. WTF!!! The guy seemed willing to work with me but I also get the impression he will try some more jankey s***. He says he will replace the gasket if he needs to. I think he needs to replace the header and presilencer. any suggestions??

could I get the flanges cut off and new ones welded on?

You should just be able to talk to them. Tell them you'll order the parts and bill them or have them pay RB. Otherwise buy them yourself and bring in the reiept. They should pay. If not you may have to get a lawyer.

Hey I agree with rx7 guy try to talk to them first ask them to pay for the damage or tell them you'll buy the part then give them the bill , if that don't work then sue the hell out of them.:

well heres a report. I'm getting a new header and presilencer. the rest of the exhaust seems to be ok. only dent was on the presilence about two inches from the front. (from the header flange) so the headers were bent up and same w/ the presilencer. he did damage my heatshield but who gives a f***. Oh well at least he is willing to work with me. oh the exhaust shop he sent me to in the first place told me he couldn't repair the exhaust at all. so I took it to pineapple to get the price quote!!! yeah!! at least the headers will be shiney again!!!
