I havnt had any problem loosening that bolt if you just lock your E-shaft in a way. In that picture it seems to me that you are tearing your engine down in a odd way :P hehe... Use a bigger impact wrench!

I agree. The WP housing, "that nut", and front cover should have been off before teardown.

IMO, i would put the flywheel and key,and nut back on. Lock the flywheel and have someone hold the block, while you get the breaker on it, or impact.
Sometimes heat helps, melts the loctite.

Heat gun...

Rapid tap or liquid breaker

let it sit over night

do it again, tis might help soften it up.

1revvinFC3S has a good idea that should work. no but on a more serious note start by putting the dowel pins and rear housing and rear side plate on put most of the engine bolts in then put your flywheel back on, how did you get the flywheel off RB flywheel stopper homemade flywheel stopper or mazda ring gear stopper, if you have one of those use it to hold the flywheel then heat the bolt up with a mapp torch if you have one, then using a 1/2 inch ratchet and the proper socket with a pipe for added leverage ( I know don't use a cheater bar its bad for the tool and you) then give it all you got. I used my flywheel removal wrench to hold the flywheel once I broke one 3/8 ratchet on the bolt I got a 1/2 inch socket for my ratchet and heated it up for about 2-3 minutes not to long and then gave it hell I almost fell over when I finally got that son of a bitch off but you still need to get the front counter weight off to get intermediate plate off it should be easier mine was a little bit of a pain but once I got it moved from its original resting place I just worked it off.... good luck mate

Put the engine in your car/truck

Drive it to a place that works on truck tires

Let them hit it with the 1" impact

already hit it with a one inch impact at a diesel place. I used a bar between the little studs on the flywheel held in place by the ground to lock the flyhweel, pried it in place and held the engine down. I think heat will be a good deal.
