How do i disconect power steering?

I wanna know the easiest way on how to do this, I wanna keep the rack, just remove the pump and all the fluid,

I followed the how to on this page and it worked fine for me... Got all the parts and the **** depot... uh I mean home depot...

i just unhooked mine today alls i did was take off the belt...was i suppost to gain any hp or atleast any noticable gain

You don't have to buy all the parts the guy lists on the site. I just did mine and some what followed those directions. All I did was cut the two lines on the rack, connected them with a hose. then the rest of the connections I just snipped off with some big wiring cutters and silver soildered them shut. I will post some pics on sunday.
