How do I determine where oil is entering precat

My 1986 non turbo has started to smoke when engin has come to operating temp, the smoke slows and stop after a few minutes. I noticed oil between the precats and on ground under them. How do I determine where oil is intering engin, has engin gone south?

There is always going to be oil in the engine or it is bye bye rotary. Oil is obviously entering the exhaust. Could be OMP or a bad seal spraying too much oil into the engine and it is getting spit out.
