How do I check if the ELECTRIC OMP is working?

the factory service manual lists what the resistances should be from point to point inside the connector for both omp plugs. i don't know of anything else short of pulling off oil injectors and watching them spurt.
if your omp is broken in a way that the ecu can tell, your car will run in limp mode. limp mode = car won't rev higher than maybe 4-5k rpm and won't get much over 60 mph, due to fuel cut (i think it's fuel cut, i routed my o2 sensor to a multimeter and it showed an extreme lean condition).

the ecu has a position sensor it looks at, and it knows where that should be for a given rpm and load. if the mop doesnt work the ecu pretty much will shut you down
