Not recommended to mess with the AFM...

If the car is stock or even mildly modified, something is wrong.&nbsp Don't go looking at the AFM for a band-aid fix.

Explain what you mean by "boggy". Does it stumble or is it smooth? The turbo doesn't come on hard until about 3,000rpm anyway, so it sounds normal.

hmmm!

sounds like you need an apexi safc. that is the only way your gonna modify the afm signal. its about $350.00 at rx7.com. you may be able to get a used one cheaper.

1) The 720's are TOO MUCH GAS - that's your problem with the bogging.&nbsp I bet this happens at 4kRPM, right?

2) I see no upgrade fuel pump - you're going to end up blowing everything up soon.

ted he said under 3k, the secondaries dont come on till 3600k, right?

so the 720's wouldnt be causing his bogging. unless its full throttle when the bogging occurs, do the secondaries come on at any rpm when your at wot?

ok, when i go to cold start it, i have to rev it at about 3K untill the temp needle starts to move then once it gets to 1/4 it idles lumpy(btw i don't have the bov pluged into the tid) then when i drive for a little bit it will level out and idle around 900-1000. i just cleaned my airfilter and it seemed to help the hesitation, but under 3k (about 2.5-3K) it feels like the car is backfiring and running too rich, but once the turbo spools up it pulls nicely up to 6500.... so what can i do to fix everything? ted since my setup sucks, fuel pump? more grounds? fuel controller? plug up the bov? let me know.....

thanks

oh yeah its partial throttle when all this happens... its cruising speeds that are affected... i don't think they are leaking i don't really smell a fuel smell or see any liquid dripping under the car at any time....

and no it doesn't happen at 4K the switchover from primaries to secondaries is fine i think, its just the lower end partial throttle drivability....

Something is definitely wrong.&nbsp I would do a total tune-up and check the TPS.&nbsp The car shouldn't be running like that to begin with.&nbsp Do you have a boost gauge by any chance?

If you're going to keep the 720's, go with an A'PEXi S-AFC as Grimlock mentioned.

A Walbro 255lph fuel pump will keep things safe.

Before going with the above, we need to find out what's wrong with your car though...

I presume you've plugged the hole in the TID, but did you put a check valve on the open end of the BOV? It'll run like a bucket of **** if you haven't.
