there are plenty of threads on this if you search for N/A TII swap
is it worth it? IMHO no, if you want a trubo car - buy a turbo car
Can it be done relatively easily and fairly inexpensively - yes
you will also (if you buy what you mentioned) need a custom driveshaft...or a tII shaft...rearend & half shafts (cv's)
edit: you will also need either a FMIC or a TII hood to feed the top mount.....a bigger fuel pump....a couple more gauges.....hmmm theres more stuff - trust me

The TII driveshaft won't hook up to the GXL rear? Supposing his is a GXL...
I don't know the difference between TII and NA driveshafts as far as the ends go, but the LSD I would think would be a keeper?

its not as simple as dropping it in. manythings need to be done. search for n/a turbo swap. read, read, read, is all i can say.
get an s5 LSD rearend. its the viscus kind and very strong. I'm wondering if the GTU 4.3 rear end will work. SUPER LAUNCHES!
its possible, are you talking about turboing the n/a motor (putting a turbo on it), or doing a full swap (motor from a diff car)? parts can be found here on this forum. or sites like mazdatrix, and many others.

well if you call a turbo a simple bolt on, then yea. other than that, no. the only way to make an n/a with more hp is to port it, a haltec or some other stand alone system, full exhaust and more fuel (bigger injectors, and bigger fuel pump).
spend time doing a full tune up. fix whats wrong with it
