how to distinguish a s4 from s5 TII diff.?

I remember reading about the color marking on the driveshaft flange bolt. I searched around a bit but nothing much. Anyone know? Thanks

S5 vlsd units have unequal length stub shafts. Popping those out will be a quick tell.

Ok, both tII diffs I have, have equal length stub shafts. On one of them the TII half shafts fit and on the other diff they don't. The one were shafts fit has 11 ribs on the back and marked as a P016 and the other one has 9 or 10 ribs and marked as M055. I know they are both TII diffs but would like to know which one is s4 or s5, and wouldn't the tII h.s. fit on both being there tII diffs? Thanks for clarifies
