CA How to disconnect the wiring harness under the dash?

I had my engine rebuilt recently and have been cleaning it up and putting everything back on it. It looks like it would be so much easier to fully assemble the engine WITH the wiring harness and drop the engine in complete (except A/C and P/S), but I can't see how to get the the harness out form under the dash. I mean that literally; I can find any pictures and I sure can't get my head far enough under the dash or enough light, or my bifocals focused well enough...... The ECU and ???? (other one) under the floor mat are easy, but the seems to be two other wire bundles coming though the firewall that I can feel but can't see with eyes or fingers to find the connectors. Please tell me what you know. That's helpful.

Small hands, strong fingers, clip needs to be pressed like ecu clip and pulled towards firewall.

Remove the glovebox, then remove the blower motor housing.
That should free up enough space to get a small Chinese gymnast up in there...

2nd gen.
you got a couple connectors on the passenger side firewall.
You have to remove the rocker plastic, pull the door seal back a bit then remove the passenger kick panel, and it will reveal some connectors.
Push the Engine harness INTO the passenger side by compressing the Big *** Rubber grommet into the firewall hole.
That will give you enough wire to work with to find out where the Connectors are.
There is one DOUBLE connector held onto the Kick panel by a 10 mm nut,and it is a Pain to get to,so leave it OFF when yo install it again. It will just be a ***** to get back on anyways..lol!
..I hope that is what you were referring to was the ECU wiring.!

No gymnasts around this household, Chinese or otherwise. We're all 6'4"+ and 200-250 lb. Its tough getting under there!

To answer your next question, its a convertible that doesn't see the top unless it raining.

Check my profile and go to my thread "pulling wire harness", mistertyx69 nailed it and I was able to disconnect and pull my harness with ease.
