how to clean fire extinguisher

I think my car had a huge engine fire and was wondering if anyone knows any good way or stuff to use to clean off the extinguisher really easy.

Thanks,
Chris

You think your car had a huge engine fire? Is there fire extinguisher solution everywhere?

Did someone just spray it in there for fun? How did the stuff get in there?

If it was a fire. Did you replace everything that burnt?

So you bought it after it had the fire, then? If its anything like some of the engine fires I've seen, paint is the least of your worries. I personally don't know the best way to get the fire extiguisher crap off, though.

IIRC I used a hose and washed most of it out, then a rag and some steel wool or nylon pad for the ash because I didn't care about the paint.
