I had a rotor go out on an '87 and it was barely driveable. For one the car wouldn't stay running unless I put it in neutral and revved the engine constantly. It has so little power that I couldn't even go fast enough to get through a green light when I was the first person in line. So really it's not too hard to tell that one is out and no, it's not driveable.

In my opinion anyway.
