Your gonna start to top out at 140 pretty soon. Even with the best green paint and stickers. You will spin the car after shifting 6 times and having no gas pedal while shifting with both hands on the wheel.

Your gonna have to go to your work and ask for two bottles...the big ones...oh...and...you need them by tonight.

Then you can go up against three rotor FD's but still loose cuz your DVD playa says DANGER TO MANIFOLD. Then Vin and his buddies are gonna have to take the rear axle apart and replace the ECU you just burnt with a new j-spec GTAOLK version thats 4000hp more.

Start searching for threads that read "450hp" or "400hp" or something like that. Cause thats what it will take. Also, your in Lakeland, aren't there any fast TIIs at the track over there? Might wanna ask them.

You could also push it off a cliff, that should make for some good acceleration

How can i make my second gen go 12.5-11.0

This is my goal. You want a good example of a great way to make your car this fast talk to 1FastT2 his car is running those numbers.
Your going to need approx 10k for that just to give you an idea, and thats assuming you have a good running TII. The basic formula for getting into that kind of power is...
upgrade exaust, fuel system, bigger injectors, ignition, cooling system, FMIC, streetport, Get rid off ALL emissions and accesories on engine, Standalone ECU, And last but certanly not least A BIGGER TURBO. The turbo is what makes the most power of corse but with out all these other mods your really not going to go anywhere. And the turbo will cost you the most or at least it should. Do a search and if you see 1 Fast talk to him he'll give you some pointers...

There is a VERY big difference between a 12.5 second FC and an 11 second FC. Get more specific, or pick a horsepower goal.

Take off your vin numbers and emblems and stick em on a Buick Grand National.

I'm just messin with ya, but you might want to plan out your upgrades in stages, it's going to take alot of work, money, and time to put it into the 11s. After you put in exhuast and intake the upgrades start piling up like said before, like you'll need a fuel upgrade and stuff like that.

Your little speal was funny. But funny because you know every little detail about something you supposidly hate. You remind me of a closest-homo, except a closest-ricer.

Come on now it was funny.

He asked a bad /newb question.

I know a guy with a Bridgeport and some aftermarket turbo doin 336 at the wheels and pulls a 13 flat on street tires. It took him a while to get there too.

So your looking at 350++ Horse to get into that range.
11's will take even more since you'll then need a rollcage(added weight). Not to mention you won't be able to drive that thing every day.

if you already have a 10 sec street car. why would you want a slower rx7?

but the first step is to save $10-15k
after that come back and ask.

I want to get my car to run something like 9.5-13.2 in the 1/4 mile, what do I need to do?

Seriously though, do a search, there's tons of stuff to do, and there's no magical formula.

All of those details I read on this very forum. Go to the lounge and search for fast and the furious or FnF and you will see what I mean.

I don't think that it would take $10K USD to get into the mid 12's with a TII... I doubt it could be done on the stock turbine, but I don't see why it couldn't be done for way less than $10k...

Its not hard to spend $10K on a TII. Stuff ads up quickly. I've seen lots of cars ghettoed together. Really well pieced together TII's are rare.

I agree that mid 12's shouldn't take that much money. People should specify whether that is 12's on street tires (more $$$) or 12's on slicks...

yeah, that's true... and it would probably cost another $3-4K to KEEP that TII running 12s... hehehehe

I'm probably going to spend around $1500 just in maintainance this year... on a (mostly) stock TII...

and yeah, to do stuff proplerly costs money.... lots and lots of it..

but Aaron Cake's complete turbo conversion came in at under $10K us.. and his car runs mid-high 12's... on street tires... so I'm sure that with less than $10k you can get a TII into the same territorry..
