How can i get this damn 02 sensor out?
I was gonna swap out my 02 sensor and for the life of me cant break the damn thing loose....... any tricks to getting this thing out. I've sprayed it with WD40, heated up the manifold slightly........ nothing has worked and its hard to get a good angle on this thing and no room to get a neumatic gun..... any suggestions?
Thanks,
Matt

I had to use a torch to get mine out. had to heat up the downpipe so it was red hot. The threads on the O2 sensor didn't come out with the rest of it so I had to re-tap it.

Autozone and all auto parts places have O2 sensor sockets.
Buy one.
They are $9 just about everywhere and they snap that sucker right outta the manifold.
If it wont go easilly while cold, try it hot.
And if not while hot, try it cold.

I had to actually start the car to get it out...
Put the socket/extentions/wrench on... Start the car.. Keep cranking at it as the manifold warms up... Took about 30 seconds for it to pop loose...
