How to build a 11-12 second tII?
Im going to be rebuilding the 13bt from my 88 in the next couple of weeks.
My plans are a low 12 second car in the 1/4. How can i do this, and still have the car as a semi-daily driver.
What kind of apex seals should i use?
Should i port it?
Should i keep the stock turbo?
Injectors?
Computer?
I already have a straight 3" Exhaust on it downpipe back.
Much help would be greatly appreciated, as i am somewhat a noobie to the turbo scene.
Thanks,
Jason

Well, there are lots of shortcuts, but here is a list that will allow you to safely run those numbers:
Haltech E6K
720 cc primaries & 1600 cc secondaries
Walbro 255 l/hr fuel pump
-6 AN fuel lines and fittings
rising rate fuel pressure regulator
Greddy Profec-B
GAUGES! (EGT, water temp, oil temp, fuel pressure - just to name the bare minimum)
Hybrid 60-1 turbo (maybe. This is debateable as a bigger full blown upgraded turbo may be necesary. But, I have seen this hybrid run 11.8 at the track)
3" intake ducted to front bumper
upgraded radiator
E-fan
slightly lightened flywheel
ACT heavy duty pressure plate and 6-puck disc
some weight reduction
remove all emissions
FMIC (maybe. The hybrid turbo that ran an 11.8 was running with the stock top mount)
set of slicks
As for the motor:
A good sized street port would be great (But, the hybrid turbo that ran an 11.8 was running on a stock Jspec block)
That is about all I can think of. I am sure there are a couple more things (like practice launching your car!) that would be preferable/necessary.
