You remove the fan/clutch assembly, throw it away and look for a fiero that got crashed.

If the clutch has failed it will need to be replaced.

depends on your budget and electro-mechanical abilities.

Replacing the stock fan and clutch with a new one is expensive, while a junk yard one might be much cheaper.

But using some other fan means fitting and wiring it in, and hopeing that it works right and cools properly.

I did an electric fan upgrade on mine using a Flex-A-Lite Black Magic 150 fan (purchased from Summit Racing). Just a trip to Home Depot for some hardware, about an hour's worth of simple fabrication, 30 minutes of wiring, and I was good to go. Ditched the fan shroud and fan clutch

Here's a pic of the upgrade (on my Fluidyne radiator)

I am going to modify the brackets when I start my T2 conversion soon (the large brackets you see are supplied with the fan).

White_Seven. I've got the same fan and I'm using those same heavy brackets too. Damn, there big brackets that seem to stare right back at you when you look In the Engine Bay. I will soon be replacing mine with Transmission Cooler zip ties soon.
