Hot start??

My stock 87 t2 runs and drives great , but when its all warmed up I have to cut the fuel pump to get it started. And its kind of tricky. Any ideas would be great.

Thanks.

what reaction would that have ? wouldn't the car run bad all the time? The car is actually flooding out thats why I hit my fuel pump cut switch. Could you explain a little, Thanks
