Hot-cold plugs NGK-7 or 9?

I've been having a problem with low idle on my 91 TII and I heard about running BUR9EQ plugs all around. Has anyone else tried this?, does it help when starting?,also does NGK make a BUR9EQ lead plug, or do you just install BUR9EQ trail plugs all around?. My mods include HKS intake, RB DP, FCD, and Maxspeed CATback.

I do use the 9's all around...

I really haven't noticed a difference.

Do you just use trailing plugs all around or does NGK make lead 9 plugs?

NGK specifically made the BUR7EQ(P) and BUR9EQ(P) spark plugs for the Mazda rotary engine.&nbsp All of them are marked "L" and "T", respectively.&nbsp Don't worry about the markings; just use the 9's in the leading holes.&nbsp They won't give you any performance benefit, but the sure do last significantly longer in the leading positions.

Any downsides to doing this Ted? Anything to get a bit more like outta these crazy priced plugs has to be good!
