Horsepower Increase

Approximately how much horsepower would I get with the Bonez Race Pipe and the Greddy Power Extreme Dual Exhaust? Im goin to insall them 2morrow and I can 4get about a dyno and I was just wondering the HP increase in numbers. Rite now the exhaust leaks and the pipes that enter the back of the muffler are rusted and leakin so I plan on seeing some pretty decent power increases

Nah its not a TII REnder and snowball the Bonez race pipe goes in place rite after the exhaust manifold to the Y-Pipe and replaces all 3 cats so its pretty much a full exhaust. Except for a headder and that will maybe later on when i find one I like. Ive heard the Racing Beat header but I dont like how it sounds.

Pacesetter headers also sound like a pack of bees. And give little to no HP gain at all...

Racing Beat, and Kahren, both make nice headers. Supposedly (even though I have one) Racing Beat's header is poorly designed. Talk to Kahren!

I have an S4 and installed my exhaust yesterday. Stock manifold>Bonez race pipe>RB catback and I will say that I noticed some nice gain along with a nice DEEP tone. My stock exhaust was in **** poor shape, leaks everywhere and the smell could choke you to death. Not anymore though.
Now I'm just wondering what to do with the tube that was connected to the split air pipe. The small line is hooked to the race pipe.
With that said, you should probably notice gains between 5-7.5 horse.
Highly recommend RB to anyone thinking about it, but goodluck with your setup as well.

Did I mention I have nice blue flames that come along with it
Pretty hot at night.

I just got back from drivin around with my new Bonez Race Pipe and Greddy Power Extreme Dual exhaust installed. I only have one thing to say INCREDIBLE!!!!!!! Everyone has talked about backpressure beeing needed to open all the ports on an S4 and that the Bonez Race Pipe wont give you that. BULLSHIT. If anything the ports are opening better now. Ive noticed a huge increase in low end power and a pretty good increase in top end power. Also the tone of the Greddy cat-back with the race pipe is just amazing.

RX-7 Havik- Ive wondered the same thing about the metal line(split air pipe) and I called RX7.com B 4 I installed it and they said its ok if you just leave it open. Air only exits it from the air pump. Thats what I did.
Im not a Dyno but im almost positive I gained 15-25 HP
Probably cuz my stock was in just as bad of shape as yours.

Sounds good man!

Yeah I'm not sure how much I gained as well but it's DEF. very noticeable.
As far as the metal line....I figured there was no harm in it in leaving it alone. I'm not sure, but I think you can even lose the whole ACV unit now. At least with S4 you can.

Glad you like the setup man, enjoy!

Adios
