Had to get horn wrking to pass inspection. So I replaced the horn cpu and the horn started to wrk but in some positions of steering wheel it will not make work. After pulling the wheel and hub I relized the contact ring is not making good conection all the time . And it looks like the is a plastic ring and some of it is wore off. The part is discontinued from mazda. Anyone run into this .
Also the steeing wheel is aftermarket grant wheel but the hub appears to b factory

It's an aftermarket hub too, Mazda didn't do things like that.
