Question Hood Water Leak

Has anyone else with a TII had a water leak? I do not believe that mine is caused by the rubber that meets with the IC, but the holes that are visable from the outside through the scoop. How did you deal with it?

Thanks.

Mine leaks at the scoop insert also.
I expect they all do.
I just think of it as extra engine cooling.

Does yours leak at the actual plastic insert or behind it through the holes in the hood? It's caused rust and I recently found a substantial amount of water sitting in my TID.

The rust occured in the engine bay on the frame rails from water leaking through the Al hood.

Surely I'm not the only one in the history of this vehicle who's had a leak as I've described it?

Just another reason to pull the TII hood and go with a good FMIC and an aluminium N/A hood. I think that would look ****.

Here are pictures of two spots that I suspect. In the first one notice how in the left side of the circle is light colored? I could actually stick my finger through the scoop and around the back of the plastic part and you could see it in that picture! In the second one, notice the area I highlighted? That is a hole that goes right through the hood! I could stick my finger through that hole and you'd be able to see it.
