Hey all i am shipping a hood that I bought and I need to have the size of the FC hood. I would have measured it myself but I am at work talking to the shipping agent and need to be specific about dimensions. LxWxH etc. Also I forgot how much the TII hood weighs. Its an aluminum one not steel. Thanks!

EDIT I searched "hood demensions" and "hood size" and could only find ricers trying to get TII hoods to fit onto their 86 SE's

Try the FSM?

It seems the shipper might want to know the gross weight of the hood including the crate or box?

Yeah let me check that I am going to call the shipper up and see what weight they need. I already got a quote for 130 buckers from rough estimates on size and weight.

 

DAMN, ship if FED EX Freight, it would be like half the cost.

 

Weight is approx ~35lbs for an aluminum T2 hood. If no one gives you dimensions by tonight, Ill go out and measure mine for you.

 

Nah man I was taking a look at fedex and they had something like 230 as a quote which is insane. I am having a whole engine shipped for 200 lol.
