hood release?

so i just bought my first rx7. the chick i bought it off of opened the hood for me to look at the engine, but wasnt paying attention and dont know where the hood release. thanks

i had trouble finding it my first time looking for it too. But, it is in the generic spot, left side underneath the steering wheel but towards the door kinda thing...

Off-center to the right, between the hood and bumper. Its a tab, pull it up.
