I recommend checking out aero catch hood pins. An experienced friend and I installed a set on my last car (tiburon with siebon ts hood) roughly like this:
Installed pins on radiator support bar
Turned pins down so the hood would close and the tops would just toutch hood
Applied painters tape to bottom and top of area on hood
Applied rtv to top of hood pin and closed hood (be easy to only touch pin)
Drilled with a small bit upwards where rtv was left on hood, drilling through both layers
Taped are patch template to hood, using your small drilled hole as a center point
Drilled hole on bottom layer larger to fit pin through
Used a roto zip drill bit (bit is meant to turn and eat sideways, similar to a saber saw without the up and down motion) to cut the top layer to fit the unit into
Test fitted unit
Marked and drilled "bolt" holes on top layer
Used rivets to secure instead of bolts since hole was small on bottom layer to keep it looking clean
Remember that this was my process with aero catch pins on a different car. Technique will be similar, but might not be exactly the same. Use your best judgement, take your time, and measure twice.

Here is how the AeroCatch look installed in a ViS FC hood.
Outside of hood
Passenger side pin
Passenger - underside of hood
Driver's side pin
Driver - underside of hood
I originally put an unlocking set in the car but the kid's university was close to a bad area of town so got the locking version. I have an unlocking set with all virgin, unused hardware available if you're interested. Private message me if you're interested.
