Honeing

Just a thought, but honeing in a piston motor helps the rings settle better. Would honeing in a rotary help the apex seals settle better?

How and what would you hone???

The housings (beside that they are like a figure 8) are plated for long life. Honing them (if you could) would result in the housings wearing out prematurely.

Russ_R,

You just replace the rotor housings.
