Home made OMP injector plugs?

So rising rpm makes their kit and it uses 4 machined to length bolts, banzai so nono on using bolts and to use 2 threaded Allen bolt inserts. what have you guys used to block off the 4 injector holes and what measurements were used?

go to home depot or lowes and get them, and cut them to fit. BLAMO! hell, i could cut some for you if you dont feel like it.

Well I have no problem cutting my own, I'm just concerned at what length they should be, should I use bolts or the Allen bolts and should I use lock tight or lock washers?

teflon tape or liquid teflon sealant. cut them adjacent with the surface level and then cut a flat screwdriver insert into the head of each of the 2 for the rotor housings with a dremel and cutoff wheel.

Ok sounds easy enough thanks. One more question how come you don't want bolt heads on the housing ones?

I think the dengus that sticks up would get in the way of a bolt head, also, it needs to be sealed and unless you have a bolt that will work well with a copper washer and is very short(been a while since Ive done one) its not going to seal up. Cutting off the bolt head just makes for a nice clean look.

I have seen bolts used with no ill effect.

you can use short bolts with the heads protruding, i just think flush it gives a nicer clean appearance and only takes a few more minutes.

I suppose if you are on a super tight budget you can go through all the work of cutting heads off bolts. The kit we sell is only $25 and comes with the block of plate. http://banzai-racing.com/store/FC_oi...imination.html

difficult to mess up overtorquing the bolts with the cut off head, i just used it as an example because the metric allen plugs are quite difficult to find at most hardware houses. it's really not that much work, takes about 5 minutes tops. only downside is you lose the zinc coating which prevents rust on the screw head but there's other things you can coat on the head to protect it like cold galvanizing compound or more of the liquid teflon mentioned.

doesn't need to be super pretty, no one can even see them once the engine has the accessories mounted anyways.

Does it have to be liquid Teflon (the white pipe fitting stuff) or can you use lock tight?
