Hollow Cat.
Hey, I was about to hollow out my cat when some guy came up to me and told me that hollowing out my cat was dangerous because it will cause a rise in exhaust temp. ... I was like "What?"... anyway, although it doesnt make sense, is this remotely true? Second, are the paper gaskets on there reusable or do I need to replace them?

No. There are also no paper gaskets on the exhaust. They are metal gaskets, and should be replaced whenever removed.
Keep in mind that really all you're going to accomplish is a minor power increase and a massive noise increase. You will also have to figure out your 5th and 6th ports.
