Holley 660 Cleaning
I have a double pump (only 1 pump hooked up), 4 barrel, 660cfm Holley attached to a Jaytech Intake manifold.
It is dirty and needs a rebuild. I know getting a rebuild kit includes all the gaskets and whatnot, but I have a small problem with the carb that I want to fix while its out and I don't know if the rebuild kit will fix it.
On the carb, The jet for the rear rotor doesn't quite spray right. The front jet will be a solid stream when I pull on the accelerator pump arm, but the rear jet sprays all over the place. It still makes it in the intake, but it doesn't make me comfortable that it sprays everywhere and is not a solid jet.
I've checked the accelerator pump and it seems to be working fine. I've cleaned the jet head, but I think it may still be the issue.
I'm replacing my motor this coming weekend and want to get this fixed since I'm fairly sure that this is what caused my motor to pop and don't want it to happen again.
My question is, will a rebuild kit fix this issue with the accelerator pump/jets?
If not, what do I need to look at replacing?
