NEW EXHAUST!

seriously though... I don't think the patch would hold up long depending on how far back it is.

Yea, have the parents pay for it. Tell them as the exhaust is leaking and getting inside the car, they should spring for a new exhaust system so that you don't pass out from the fumes.

my mom had a hole in her mazda mpv once. it did make some funny noises ... but it didn't affect her gas mileage. do you think that you bad mileage is due to hole in your exhuast?

Could it be a hole in the cat maybe (just guessing)? Id go with the RB system tho, the 3.15'' $800 turbo exhaust looks like it gives some performance gains (if u have a TII).

it just doesn't make sense (to me at least) how a hole in the exhuast will worsen you gas mileage. it is less restrictive :p

acutally it would be more restrive since it will loose flow.. depedning how big it is.. if its really big.. thengas mileage would have gone up.. along with really load exhuast.

Also check to see if cat is clogged. That could cause nad gas mileage.

it's not less restrictive, it will how ever make the exhaust gases more turbulant, this will worsen gas milage
