I am shopping for a boost gauge..problem is, I can not find one that meets the following 2 criteria:

1) it should be an electronic gauge so I do not have to run a vac line through the firewall and
2) with black background, orange light, and overall matches the look of the dash gauges...

any input regarding the boost gauge choice? And why would you need a boost gauge if the EVC displays boost value?????

and why did I prefer the EVC over mech boost controller? I know the mech controller is cheaper, but I figured that since the EVC is a closed-loop system, it would offer quicker boost response and higher stable boost levels throughout different gears.

Regarding the apexi S-afc, I have very little knowledge on this product, so I will do a little digging - I figured that the HKS F-Con is taylor made for the RX7, so it would be easier to install and tuned.
