just alittle FYI, if there is an adjustment screw on the backside of the BOV, it's a fake... don't waste your time with those cause they tend to leak at about 5 psi.

Thats not true, the older model SSQV has the adjustable bolt on the backside of the BOV. The new ones you simply change the spring inside it.

If you are referring tot he article in Modified magazine, they said the ones w/ the bolt are fake. I have one that I was questioning the authenticity of. I compared the internals of mine, and internals of their real one, and the rubber seal is the same, and does not have the lack of elasticity they say the fake ones have.

I would recommend this one, you can change the sound and stuff, and its the most reliable one. The design or it is not supposed to leak.

I had a Blitz DD, and those supposidly seize up because the piston is not perfectly the right size so itll try to go up and down at an angle.

Greddy ones are made of aluminium and the adjustment screw tend to strip out easy.

turboXS is just ghey in my opinion.

i dont really know much about the apexi one.

friends have had bad experiences w/ hks. alot of boost surge

i had an apex and didnt particularly like it. the adjustment ring thing is flimsy and pointless. took it off after driving it for a few days.

no experiences w/ greddy, but i dont like the way they sound. same goes for the blitz.

i would jus use a bov from a first generation turbo eclipse/talon/laser. they r very reliable and cheap. if u want it to be louder u can have it "crushed".

if ur looking for louder than that... i've heard a few tials lately and they sound really really good and u have no worries w/ reliability.
