HKS SSBOV question

I got Hks super sequential bov, today and i installed it, however it doesn't sound like that wistle sound that i thought it will, it doesn't sound loud either, it's a swoosh sound mixed with some kind of whistle. Now my question is: is there a way to adjust it to sound louder? There is some kind of nut on the back of it do i have to unscrew that or anything. Please reply if you have this bov and know about it. thanks

I don't know about the states, but in Japan there is a small unit you can buy (it runs about 12000 Yen, or $10.00) that replaces the diaphram. It does change the sound a bit and might be more to your liking: it's louder but still doesn't whistle.

Hey, you could always superglue a kazoo on the front of it!

ROFL I can just PICTURE some guy getting his ACME sized kazoo and slipping it over the end of his [insert least favorite car manufacturer here]'s catback system!! Imagine the god awful racket...

Anyone trying a turbosmart supersonic BOV? One of my older supra buddies just got one (they are relatively new), and says it is really loud when adjusted to the highest settings. He loves it.
They're advertised as the highest flowing and loudest valves on the market, may go try it if no one else has.
Only $177 shipped, too, and is relatively small, or the larger version for higher boost engines. They sell an RX-7 adapter kit too.
Reading more on their site, they sell an external 45mm wastegate used on a 900 hp 20B, so they must sell some decent products...
