Not sure what it is. I have had it for a few years. I got it on a front clip I bought a while back when I did my RHD swap. I dont remember where it was wired in if at all. But it was mounted in the same general area as the stock MAP sensor.

 

I'm going to say yes, it's probably used for a boost controller.

 

or it's a sender for a boost gauge?
