HKS F con v pro fried?
HKS F con v pro fried?
Hi everyone, have I messed up?
Me being a clown, I played around with ecus in attempt to eliminate my idle surge when throttle was partial, I then connected my HKS f con v pro (piggyback) straight to my ecu harness connector. As usual, nothing happened, not even cranked, and then figured the stock ecu solved that issue. However, I would like to try the hks f con v pro again due to power benefits and not sure if the piggyback ecu got fried? It is a very finicky piggyback ecu at the start and would always surge for a good 30 minutes before having a stable idle, as well with prementioned idle surge at partway throttle. I would ever so love to have the tuning software for this ecu but unfortunately that is not the case as only HKS dealers have access to the PowerWriter software. I'm just not sure if the fuel/ignition maps got messed up from that but this event happened a few months ago and just got to me now.
Responses will be very appreciated!
