Isnt the HKS one the log-type manifold? I'd try to get one that keeps the runners separated since you'll get cleaner pressure pulses and quicker spool.

Lot better than the ebay crap. Cracked one already, and only bought another one because I couldn't find the hks one.

any pics of it? I'm sure HKS made a few manifold for the fc3s, most likely its gonna be noticeably better...my 2cents, I'd try to talk him down a bit, i always do with internet car parts salesmen. USPS is probably least expensive.

not worth it, get uj bends and build your own. they dont really offer a effective manifold for our cars. (statement contrary to popular opinion)

Please qualify this statement with data.

And for anyone else reading, you don't just "get uj bends and build your own". Building a manifold is a bit more then just slapping some pipe together. Without a jig or previous experience, you're looking at several days at least in pipe fitting, 8-10 hours of welding, and then the machine work necessary to flatten the flanges after welding. And things like wastegate runners don't just get stuck on in any arbitrary position either...

As for the HKS manifold, it has been proved for years to work well and last quite a long time. Many, many, many high HP RX-7s have been built with this manifold since the 2nd gen was new.
