High Temp Silicone on Exhaust Gasket??
Hey Everyone,
I finally have my full Racing Beat exhaust system and I'm ready to rip out the old stock system and install the racing beat system but I have one question.
Do I need to use high temp silicone on the gaskets to get them to bond to both peices better on all connections when I put the new system in or just bolt everything up with the gaskets in place with no silicone?
Regards,

mmmm... no
It won't do anything since your going to tighten everything to 40 and 80 Nm and that will most like squeeze out anything you put in and then just cook on your exhaust.

They will last maybe all of one hour.
Then it all turns to dust.
You really don't need to do that, cause the exhaust is just too hot for even the highest temp RTV silicone that's consumer grade - about 700F intermittent.
