High RPM Sputtering AGAIN
Well, a while back I had a problem wehre the high rpm range would be ungodly slow, but that was just a unplugged VDI Connector so I fixed it that day.
Now, the SOB is back, this time it's NOT the VDI.
Here's what it does, at high rpm (100% Throttle) at about 7k rpm or above (sometimes it'll randomly do it through the whole range at random rpms)...
I've gone as far as to put the stock air box back on, it helped the first run, left the car running to run into the pizza place, came back out and hit the gas and bam the damn thing starts sputtering.
Now, coming across a stretch I only gave about 50-70% Throttle and it went through the range fine (actually was faster than at WOT) which leads me to believe it's fuel related, the fuel filter looks like it's never been changed.
The peak % on my SAFC Air Flow wise is 60% at 8k rpm, when I say it sputters I mean it absolutley takes me about three seconds to get up to 8k rpm from 6,500 RPM because it's sputtering so much, almost like there's not enough gas or air, BUT I know Air Flow isn't a problem, as I had a huge cone on there from the Camden kit, it hasnt been a problem till recently.
The TPS Voltage maxs out at 4 V and at idle is about 0.7 V so I dont think its the TPS, I did mess with the screw on top of the throttle body just playing with it but I didn't think it would effect the TPS and it was doing this BEFORE the TPS as I played with it again just in case, I have a tester from my GSL-SE (85) but I dont think it's able to test the TPS'es.
Anyone have any suggestions? I want to fix this before the supercharger goes on...

YES, I was hitting the gas from 7k to 8k rpm, that's not a normal RPM climb...

Dropping off, yes, sputtering no, I doubt it was supposed to spudder that much.
The catalytic converter has 184k miles on them, when I added fuel the other night (i was bored) it started doing this so I have a feeling I finished them off.

My car does the same thing although it is worse. It'll noticeably stutter and buck between 5,000 at 7,200. Mines an S4 so I usually never go beyond 7,000 but it stutters pretty bad. I have been told it's a bad ground although all my grounds look good. Maybe I need a circle earth system.

I think it has to do with the catalytic converters...you see, I added +5% fuel the other day because I was having a minor power problem (that leaning it out kind of helped) but I was bored, said hey lets add fuel and she did what shes doing now, I think when I added the fuel I finished off the catalytic converters...

When the cats are clogged they normally bog your car down really bad at low RPM's. A lack of power at high-rpm is to be expected with a clogged cat, but you would have other symptoms too. Another sure fire way to tell if they are clogged is have a friend drive behind you and see if they smell something that smells like rotten eggs when you gas it.

It's defintley got no power down low (I cant tell if its due to the constant 6 port or the cats).
Well, like SonicRAT quoted "Your cats smell like a nasty old woman with an STD"...or something along those lines...they defintley smell like CRAP and I cant stand sitting still for five minutes as the smell is intoxicating with the windows down.

Yeah, I did that to my tbird, my hands were cut to hell after that...I'm just going to pay someone to put this one on, my first generation's o2 sensor wouldn't come out the manifold, not with two people on a breaker bar and not with an impact gun so I don't expect this one to be any better.

Figured out what exactly was wrong with my mid-rpm hesitation, spark plug wire fell almost completley off when I nudged it a bit...apparently it went backwards off the plug.
now to find out whats causing the high rpm, I still think its the cats, test pipe will be here soon...
