Correct me if I am wrong but these are near the exhaust manifold and look kind of like bells and have one rod coming out of each and vacuum lines attached to them?

Exactly.

2. use vacuum guage and check to see if I have 2-3 psi of pressure in the vacuum line that runs from the cat to the acv area. Should it have that pressure right at 3800 rpm? Can you just use a regular vacuum tee and cut the line?

Yeah kinda. I just disconnected the line and drove around the block to see if it did any pressure.

3. If that doesn't work try cleaning/re-grounding. Following the procedures in the link.

If this still does not help what would be the next step?

Well possible bad/stuck ports or something else like injectors/timing or something.

I really don't want to pull the injectors as this is my only mode of transportation right now and I am severely low on cash. Sorry again for the re-post's I certainly feel like a jack ***.

11 bux per injector for cleaning through www.cruzinperformance.com Rich is half the price of RC engineering.

I am betting they need a cleaning just because their old.
Taking off the manifold isn't as bad as you think. The first time I did it I had never done something like that before and it took me 5 hours but it went perfectly.

Actually I think I have 2 low impedance cleaned injectors some where around here already. never used after they were cleaned but I have the sheet around here for their cleaning.

read the FC FAQ
a common solution to the 3800 rpm hesitation is poor engine grounding, just reground that bitch

if that doesn't help i don't know what to tell you, listen to these other guys though, they usually know what they're talking about

good luck

thanks everybody, Hey jrat how would I even begin to diagnose a seconday injector wiring problem? I used a mac tools noise sensor( I know this is not what it's called it has a light in the handle that lights when something clicks) and put it on both of the sencondary's and the light was pulsing right at 3800. Is there another way?

Shoot, I just pull the connectors off and use an ohm meter to look for continuity..

Actually now that I under stand what your saying J-Rat that sounds like a good possibility. If it's just at high RPM then it might just be the secondaries not grounding out well or something.
