High Resistance Injectors??? HELP!
I am having my '88 RX7 Turbo worked on and the mechanic is having trouble finding high resistance fuel injectors. I need one, and don't know where to look without paying through the nose. He said they might try to rebuild the one I had, but it was leaking pretty bad and it might not be successful. He said I had high resistance injectors, I guess there are low resistance ones and to make sure I get the high. Are the high resistance injectors supposed to be the ones used in my car? Thanks guys, I don't know a darn thing about any of this.

They do seem to be hard to find-- I had similar problems a year ago. Ended up sending my originals to www.rceng.com -- for $25ea + shipping they did a great job. They are in your area, Torrence, CA.
If it's an option, have the mechanic remove all 4 and get them cleaned out. I as well as a lot of others here, have been amazed by their work. Unless the injector is electrically shot, this is the most cost effective answer in my opinion.

Thanks guys. I did have the injectors removed and cleaned and balanced. That is how i found out that one was leaking externally so it will have to be replaced. On the hunt as we speak. Don't wanna have to pay 300.00 for it from Mazda.
