High Imp injectors workin with resistor pack, WTF?

So for a while, I was keeping my car under 3.5k because I have High impedance secondaries and haven't rewired them yet.

Of course, with the high impedance on my 87 NA, the ECU shouldn't see the injectors and cut me out around 3.7k.

Somehow, they're actually working and I'm able to take the car up to 7k+ with no lean out. Of course I still have some vac leaks, but that's a different story. My question is, why in the hell are these injectors working? They're still on the resistor pack...

Hmm.. Well, electrically speaking, there shouldnt be any reason the ECU wouldnt send the signal. I guess its strong enough to get through double the resistance. If anyting, the load on the ECU is even lower, but I would be afraid of the weak signal..

What makes it even more interesting... This is the smoothest transition this car has ever seen when the secondaries pop on. It used to hesitate ALL the time.

Primaries are the stock 460's... Secondaries are 550's from an 88.

Still working up to the turbo swap. Everything is in place except I want to switch the 550's to primary and put some 720 or bigger into the secondaries. Got a turbo in today to replace the other, and hooked up the oil lines.

New question... With oil lines hooked up to turbo, I was only seeing a 50psi max oil pressure at 4000+ RPM, normally in the 70-75 range. However, the turbo is not leaking oil anywhere. Is this good or bad?

It's not too surprising, the high resistor thing. The solenoid resistor has SIX ohm resistors and there's people on this forum that install 10ohm resistors inline with their low impedence fuel injectors. I don't see how it hurts anything. Maybe some anomaly at real high revs??? Got me.

TurboII have a hgher output pump. Maybe that's it. Maybe not. Fifty isn't scary to me, but makes you wonder.
