In desperate need of a solution!!!

I got my 91 rx7 in january and got into an accident a month later. My driver side door got all fucked up and even though i could close it, the door light would stay on and constantly drain my battery... so i brought it in to fix the door, but the light still stayed on cuz the door wasn't connecting with that lil button down on the frame... i also replaced the battery cuz it was old... i later got that light problem resolved, but my my battery was still draining everytime i drove it. If I turn on my audio or my headlights or my wipers, it would drain even faster! Is this due to an electrical problem or the wrong battery? I wasn't sure how strong the original battery was but the one autozone gave me was like 550-575 cca. I brought the car to this import shop, and he told me i needed a bigger battery so I bought a yellowtop (650 cca) battery a month later... when i first drove it off, the metter was at about 16 volts, then continued to drop to the 12 line... haven't drove it since cuz i think its jus gonna drain out again, also cuz i jus recently replaced the radiator and the censor broke so that alarm is constantly on.

Does neone think they know what the problem could be? The alternator's been check numerous times as well as the electrical wiring.... I can't figure it out....

ne feedback would be appreciated

That alternator check at the auto parts store isn't fool proof. My headlights used to flicker intermittently, and the battery wasn't as hot as it should have been. The alternator checked OK, so I though maybe I had a shor, or something. I couldn't find anything, so I was surfing Ebay's 7 parts one night, and came across an alternator out of a T2 (my car is NA) for 10 bucks. I bid on it, and no one else ever outbid me. That fixed my problem. It was 25 bucks total with shipping. I had a similiar problem with my starter. Out of the car, it would work everytime. In the car, it was intermittent. Changed it out, and it's fixed.
One thing you can try is charging your battery (if needed) start the car, disconnect one post on the battery (negative may be best to avoid shorting), turn on all your big loads (A/C fan, Lights, etc.. ) if your car stalls.... your alternator is ****.
