high idle just started and intermittant

I posted this the other day but no one replied.
my idle just started to bounce between 1400 adn 1600 RPM. this it intermitant and irritating. it will only do it after the car has warmed up. but today it did it, it went on driving and then it stopped. yesterday it didn't do it at all. the day before it did it all day long. the first day was on friday.
I haven't made any changes lately either so I don't know what it could be. i disconnected my BAC to see if that was it but no. any ideas.

Three letters ... TPS

The how-to's of adjusting the TPS have been covered at least 42 million times here. Do a search and you should have your answer

Look for my post about the nuetral switch and my idle problems. That sounds more likely than the TPS in this case.

I've seen this exact problem countless times, and every time it's been the TPS.

Don't know about FCs but I had the same thing due to a leak in the lower intake manifold. Gasket removal required removing turbos and the manifold - a lot of labor.

I just fixed my high idle, thats been bugging me for months and months, and it was the tranny switch.

https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...threadid=58980 theres my thread. BTW, I think it should be archived, you should read it, and archive it if you feel it should be.
