High Idle BC of vac leak? *pics inside*
alright, ive searched a bit, and found similar problems of high idle, but none of them have worked for me as far as getting my idle back down to where it should be. As it stands my Idle sits at about 2100rpm and ive lived with it for too long. in the pictures of where theres a lose vac hose, those 2 hoses connect to each other via a round neon green..i dont know what its called.. havnt been able to find one at any parts store, and im planning a trip to a pick'n'pull to get one. My question is; What is that peice i just described, and Could that be the culprit of my problem? The idle screw is adjusted all the way down. If i pull the throttle back (oppiste of reving the engine) then of course the idle goes down to whereever i want it. Is there a way of adjusting that? or should i even attempt messing with it to get a better idle?
my Second question is; the last picture that round thing, before it was broken, and i didnt notice any difference in anything. Ive replaced it off another RX, and still dont see a difference, anybody wanna enlighten me as to what it is?
Thanx
