high idle

Ok I have a series 5 turbo 2 and I just did emissions removal and now my idle is 1500, every once in a while it drops to normal and then surges for a bit then returns to 1500. I put new gaskets and all the vacuum lines are new, do I have to mess with my idle screw or is it something else?

Sounds like a vacuum leak. Double check hose routing, and make sure TPS is set correctly.

surging idle typically caused by out of adjustment TPS. Get that set to spec and then go back and adjust idle to 750. Procedures for this are in the online FSM....or you can search this forum for the same problem that's been discussed many times before.
