High Idle

recently i had to remove the intercooler to replace a leaking coolant hose that goes to the throttle body. after which i pressure washed the engine and now the idle is high wont come under 2200 rpm even after its warm, the car was idling fine before. Ive read about ecms going bad , and i know i gotta get in there and check all the air hoses. any ideas?

Also I have some play in the right front wheel feels like a wheel bearing, can the bearings be repacked?

88 convertable w/ tII swap

Thanks!!!

Make sure you didn't create any vacuum leaks.

Make sure the thermowax and cold start cam is not jammed.

Check to make sure the throttle cable isn't hung up on something.

front wheel bearing can be repacked, its a time consuming process. Mazda made it in a way that you're not suppose to repack it.

Mazdatrix shows you how to do it.
