high idle
how do you set the idle i have a manual and it says to stick a wire into the green conector by the leading coil. so i did that and turned the **** on the tb nothing happens. when i start the car up it rev's to about 3k then idles at 2500
my car is a 86 GXL it was a project car, he told me it might have a street ported engine with 5k miles on it. i have recently put: walbro 255 fuel pump, rc 550cc injectors, red top optima battery, and i bought used ecu, leading and trailing coils
i know i got fckd on the injectors i bought 450cc but they sent me 550cc because rc dosent make 450cc anymore
please help me out im getting tired of driving a 85 volvo 240 DL wagon

Congratulations, not only is this your first post, but you are the ONE MILLIONTH guy to have an idle problem this week, lol...
I AM picking up Hailer's sardonic wit, I just know it...Oh well, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, lol...
Yes, you want to put a jumper wire into the two-prong green plug on the left side there...This de-activates your BAC valve so it won't try to counter all the adjustments you're making...
I think the combination of the Walbro and 550 injectors is your problem, though...

so what do i win for being the "ONE MILLIONTH guy"
but when i put the wire in the two prong and i turn the dial and the rpm wont change at all
now i was thinking it was just the 550cc s because thats about a whole cup extra of fuel a min. the pump shouldnt do anything because the fc3s has a loop fuel line all the fuel that isnt used just travels back to the tank. now would a adj. fuel pressure regulator or a apexi saf help slow all that fuel down and maybe bring the rpm down

The walbro is probably "over running" your FPR, because the stock FPR was designed to handle the stock pump, not a Walbro...
And, you're right- the 550cc injectors are not helping matters any if you're using the stock ECU...
