How do i get rid of high idling? i went to the smog place yesterday to liscense my TII and liek i almost failed it if i didnt turn my headlights on and stuff. how do i get rid of this little problem? how do i make my car idle to like under 1200? my car idles at like 1700. Thanks! Richie.

 

Im having the same problem i just installed a new engine in their and i think its my timing.. what do you guys think it is?

 

turn the screw on top of the engine clockwise. if it is all the way in, adjust the throttle cable between the top of the engine and the firewall until the idle drops to between 750 and 800.
