high flow cat or presilencer?
i want as much proformance as possible, and the noise level doesnt bother me im just not going for the import sound im hoping to get a deep throughty rich sound to it. i dont know why but i just cant stand the highpitched whine you get otherwise. so ive got a header and want to dun true duals, the mufflers are unknown in brand, i think its an old greddy system. and i am gonna drop the 3 cats and install a glasspack on each pipe. if you dont know glass packs are the presilencer looking thing that helps you get a deeper more honed sound.
so presilencer cat or just glass pack?
by the way which is most flowing? the presilencer right?

This has been covered before;
Presilencer makes the car sound better and gives better proformance, because it flows better then a cat.
Glass-packs will melt under rotary heat, use stainless-packed mufflers.

You said you have a header - Is it a Racing Beat uncollected header, or custom? You can't acheve this true dual thing if you're header is collected..
If you already have the RB header, than you already have a great start. The most deep, rich sounding exhaust I've ever heard (read: anti-rice) is the full RB true duals. Since you already have mufflers, you might as well just use them, but they're going to need some custom work done to have them fit.
Get a Racing Beat presilencer - it flows better than almost anything else, and it makes the RX-7 (NA OR Turbo) sound..oh-so glorious. Check out some of the audio threads on here of the full RB system - they'res nothing better.
High flow cats are a waste of money, don't do it. Same with glasspacks. Eventually, both blow out, glasspacks sooner than the cats. RX-7's are just so..hot

Nothing quiets the exhaust better than cats! So if you want the exhaust to stay mild but still have a deep tone to it, get the bonez high flow cat. It flows amazingly well for being a catalytic converter, you can still have a very nice sounding exhaust with mild tone, and wont hinder performance hardly at all.
Also, if you go with a presilencer do NOT use the RB one unless you go with the 3" turbo one and go with a 3" setup. The 2.5" RB presilencer is a piece of junk to be honest. A borla muffler in place of the main cat will muffle way better than the RB presilencer, make your exhaust sound better, remove some of the annoying pitch, and flow much better. The RB presilencer, again 2.5" one, does not flow that well IMO.
Overall if you just want something loud/deep if that is your perogative, I'd get a borla muffler for your presilencer. If you want something that sounds good, isn't going to kill your ears, and still flows very well, get the Bonez high flow cat. The bonez cat is a wonderful unit, I had it on for a while and really wished I had left it since the exhaust was very tolerable and still very high flowing.

Where are you getting this that they "eventually blow out" thing from? Yes glasspacks will in the middle section of the car, near the back they may not depending on EGT's. And what high flow cats "blow out" exactly? The bonez unit is an amazing high flow cat, very durable, very strong, works very well, and flows very well.
If you're talking about the generic high flow cats off ebay, yah those will blow. But a good/high quality unit will not.

You'll need something inline to collect them or just the true duals. But I can barely understand what you were typing, so its my suggestion. I first and foremost think you should know what you have before you do it. Then get back to us. Even take pictures if you can.
I don't mind the RB presilencer, but then again. I have nothing else to compare it too. And Bonez makes GREAT product FYI.
